Ingredients
  

Smoothie Ingredients
  • 2 cups fresh spinach 60g
  • 1 medium banana 120g
  • 1 cup frozen mixed berries 150g
  • 1 medium apple, chopped 180g
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds 12g
  • 2 tablespoons natural peanut butter or almond butter 30g
  • 1 cup unsweetened almond milk 240ml
  • 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup (optional) 15g

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Start by washing your spinach and chopping the apple into bite-sized pieces.
Blending
  1. In a blender, combine the fresh spinach with the almond milk. Blend until smooth.
  2. Toss in the banana, frozen mixed berries, and chopped apple. Blend again until everything is combined.
  3. Add the chia seeds and peanut or almond butter. Blend until you achieve a creamy texture.
  4. Taste your smoothie. If you prefer it sweeter, add honey or maple syrup and blend for a few more seconds.
Serving
  1. Pour the smoothie into a glass or a travel cup. You can add a sprinkle of chia seeds on top for an attractive finish.

Notes

For the ultimate experience, serve your smoothie chilled. Garnish with fresh berries or a slice of apple. Pair your smoothie with a side of whole-grain toast for a light meal or snack. Freeze leftovers in ice cube trays for easy future use.
