- Gradually add the flour and knead the dough thoroughly.
- Check the consistency of the dough and add more flour if necessary until the dough is smooth.
Shaping and Baking
- Pinch off pieces of dough and shape them into cylinders.
- Cut the cylindrical dough pieces at an angle to create your desired cookie shape.
- Place the cookies on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and score them with a fork.
- Bake the cookies in the preheated oven for about 15 minutes.
- Remove the cookies from the oven and dust them with powdered sugar as desired.
Notes
These cookies can be enjoyed warm or cooled. Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week. Dough can be frozen for up to 2 months.
