Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 425 degrees F (218 degrees C).
- In a medium-sized bowl, whisk together the dry ingredients: vital wheat gluten, all-purpose flour, baking powder, salt, onion powder, garlic powder, and nutritional yeast.
- Add the water and apple cider vinegar to the dry mixture, then mix until a wet dough forms.
- Transfer the dough to a lightly greased eighth sheet pan. Use the back of a spoon to spread it out evenly across the pan.
- Bake the crust in the preheated oven for 5 minutes.
- Remove the crust from the oven and carefully add your desired tomato or marinara sauce over the top, followed by the vegan mozzarella cheese.
- Return the pizza to the oven and bake for an additional 15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
Notes
