Preparation
- Beat the eggs with a pinch of salt in a mixing bowl until foamy.
- Gradually add the granulated sugar and vanilla sugar, beating continuously until the mixture is pale and fluffy.
- Pour in the melted butter and yogurt, then mix thoroughly until combined.
- In a separate bowl, mix the flour with baking powder and sift it to avoid lumps.
- Gently fold the dry mixture into the egg mixture until smooth.
- Line a pan suitable for a hot air fryer with baking paper, then pour the cake batter into the pan evenly.
- Wash and cut the plums in half, removing the pits. Arrange the plum halves evenly spaced in the batter.
- In another bowl, mix 2 tablespoons of flour, 1 tablespoon of sugar, and the cold butter pieces. Use your fingers to crumble the mixture until it resembles wet sand.
- Sprinkle the crumb mixture evenly over the plums.
Baking
- Preheat the hot air fryer to 160 degrees Celsius (320 degrees Fahrenheit).
- Bake the cake for approximately 25 minutes or until the pastry is golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean.
- Once baked, remove the cake from the air fryer and let it cool slightly before slicing. Enjoy!
Notes
