Preparation
- Chop ripe peaches, leaving skins on if desired.
- In a jar or bowl, mix oats, chia seeds, yogurt, milk, vanilla, and cinnamon.
- Add most of the chopped peaches to the mixture.
- Pour in your sweetener (honey or maple syrup) and mix well.
- Seal the jar or cover the bowl and refrigerate overnight, or for at least 3 hours.
Serving
- In the morning, stir the oats and check for consistency.
- Top with remaining chopped peaches or a dollop of yogurt if desired.
Notes
These oats are best when allowed to refrigerate overnight for a creamy texture. Variations can include adding nuts or other fruits like raspberries.
