  • 600 g Cauliflower (about 1 large head)
  • 1 large Egg
  • 150 g Sour Cream (or white yogurt)
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Black Pepper
  • to taste Dried Garlic
  • 50 g Cheese (your choice, shredded)
  • for drizzling Olive Oil

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cut the cauliflower into smaller florets and add them to the water. Cook for 1 to 2 minutes until slightly tender but still crisp.
  2. Drain the cauliflower and set aside.
Mix Ingredients
  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked cauliflower with the egg, sour cream, salt, black pepper, dried garlic, and cheese. Stir until well combined.
Prepare for Baking
  1. Preheat your oven to 200°C (392°F). Grease a baking dish with olive oil or line it with parchment paper.
Bake
  1. Transfer the cauliflower mixture to the baking dish. Drizzle olive oil on top and bake for 20 to 25 minutes, or until golden brown and bubbly.
Cool and Serve
  1. Once done, remove from the oven and allow to cool slightly before serving.

Notes

Consider pairing with grilled chicken or fish. Garnish with fresh herbs like parsley or chives for added color. This dish is suitable for meal prep and can be stored for up to 3 days in an airtight container.
