  • 150 grams 1 and 1/2 cups oatmeal Ground into a fine powder
  • 1 unit 1 egg Can be replaced with flaxseed meal for vegan option
  • 40 milliliters Water To create a thick mixture
Filling Ingredients
  • 800 grams 2.2 pounds apples Peeled, cored, and cut into small pieces
  • 50 grams 1.8 ounces raisins Adds sweetness and texture
  • 1 tablespoon Natural honey Sweetener, can substitute with maple syrup or agave
  • to taste Cinnamon For flavor
  • 1 small amount Oil For greasing the baking pan

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Grind 150 grams of oatmeal into a fine powder.
  2. Add 40 milliliters of water to the oatmeal powder to create a thick mixture.
  3. Incorporate 1 egg into the mixture and mix well until combined.
  4. Grease a baking pan with a small amount of oil, then spread the oatmeal mixture evenly over the entire pan to form the crust.
  5. Peel and core 800 grams of apples and cut them into small pieces.
  6. In a pan, simmer the apple pieces with a little water until they soften and become tender.
  7. Once the apples are cooked, add 50 grams of raisins, 1 tablespoon of natural honey, and a sprinkle of cinnamon to taste. Mix everything well, adjusting the sweetness to your preference.
  8. Pour the apple mixture evenly over the oatmeal crust.
Baking
  1. Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).
  2. Bake the pie for approximately 35 minutes or until the top is golden brown and the filling is set.
Serving
  1. Garnish the pie with slices of tangerine and a sprig of rosemary before serving.
  2. Serve with a hot cup of black tea for a delightful experience.

Notes

For a better flavor mix, consider using different apple varieties. You may also add nuts for crunch. Feel free to spice with nutmeg or ginger for variations. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to three days.
