  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp dried basil
  • 1/2 tsp dried parsley
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 cup whole milk Helps keep the meatloaf moist.
For the Garlic Parmesan Glaze
  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter For glazing.
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese For the glaze.
  • 1 tbsp chopped parsley For garnish and flavor.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or grease your loaf pan.
Mixing
  1. In a large bowl, gently combine all the meatloaf ingredients.
  2. Be careful not to overmix—just fold until it holds together.
Shaping and Baking
  1. Hand-form the mixture into a loaf or press it into your prepared loaf pan.
  2. Bake for about 40-45 minutes until the center reaches 165°F (75°C).
Making the Glaze
  1. While the meatloaf is baking, melt the butter in a small saucepan over medium heat.
  2. Sauté the minced garlic until fragrant, then stir in Parmesan cheese and parsley.
  3. Allow the glaze to thicken slightly.
Glazing and Finishing
  1. Brush the garlic Parmesan glaze over the meatloaf.
  2. Return it to the oven for an additional 5-7 minutes until golden and bubbly.
Resting
  1. Remove the meatloaf from the oven and let it sit for 5-10 minutes before slicing.
  2. It's crucial to let the flavors settle before cutting.

Notes
