Ingredients
  

Base Ingredients
  • 10.5 ounces 10.5 ounces of oat flakes About 2 cups
  • 2.8 ounces 2.8 ounces of chopped walnuts
  • 4 tablespoons 4 tablespoons of sugar or your preferred sweetener
  • 1 piece 1 apple, finely chopped
  • 1 piece 1 banana, peeled and cut into slices
  • 1 piece 1 egg
  • 1 cup 1 cup of milk
  • 1 cup 1 cup of cherries

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Start by finely chopping the apple and slicing the banana into thin rounds.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the oat flakes, chopped walnuts, sugar or sweetener, chopped apple, sliced banana, egg, and milk. Stir everything together until well mixed.
  3. Gently fold in the cherries.
  4. Transfer the mixture into a greased and floured pan.
Baking
  1. Place the pan in a preheated oven at 180 degrees C (350 degrees F) and bake for about 45 minutes, or until it turns golden and firm to the touch.
Serving
  1. Once baked, remove it from the oven and let it cool slightly before serving.

Notes

Serve warm or at room temperature. Cut into squares or wedges for presentation. Drizzle with honey or yogurt, and garnish with fresh cherries or cinnamon. Can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days or frozen for longer storage.
