  • 1 cup chocolate chips (dairy-free) 170 g
  • 1/2 cup maple syrup 120 ml
  • 1 large egg Can substitute with a flax egg for vegan
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract 5 ml
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda 2 g

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine almond butter, chocolate chips, maple syrup, egg, vanilla extract, and baking soda.
  3. Mix everything together until it’s well combined and you have a smooth dough.
  4. Scoop tablespoon-sized amounts of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, leaving about 2 inches of space between each scoop.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are crisp and the tops look crinkly.
  6. Once baked, allow the cookies to cool for a few minutes on the baking sheet before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
