  • 100 ml 100 ml milk (about 3.4 fl oz)
  • 50 grams 50 grams sugar (about ΒΌ cup)
  • 150 grams 150 grams cherries (about 5.3 oz)

Preparation
  1. If your cottage cheese is grainy, strain it through a fine sieve to get a smoother consistency. Rinse the cherries thoroughly and remove the pits.
Blending
  1. In a blender, combine the cottage cheese, cherries, sugar, and milk. Blend until the mixture is smooth and creamy. Optionally, you can add a splash of vanilla or a pinch of cinnamon for extra flavor.
Serving
  1. You can enjoy your curd cheese right away! Serve it in a bowl, garnished with extra cherries, berries, or a sprig of mint. Alternatively, refrigerate it for a couple of hours if you want it to set as curd cheese bars.

Notes

For a chunkier texture, blend the cottage cheese only slightly. Substitute with plant-based alternatives for a dairy-free version. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
