Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 200 degrees Celsius (400 degrees Fahrenheit).
- Cut the roasted peppers into large strips and set them aside.
- Grease a baking dish with vegetable oil to prevent sticking.
- Arrange the sliced peppers in the baking dish, layering them if needed, and sprinkle the chopped garlic between the layers.
Baking
- Bake the peppers in the preheated oven for about 20 minutes, allowing them to soften.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the sour cream, yogurt, water, and flour until smooth and creamy.
- Season the creamy mixture with salt and ground black pepper to taste.
- After 20 minutes, remove the peppers from the oven and pour the creamy mixture evenly over them.
- Return the dish to the oven and bake for another 30 minutes until hot and slightly golden on top.
- Once done, let it cool slightly, then slice and serve warm.
Notes
For added flavor, consider adding a pinch of chili flakes or paprika to the creamy mixture. You can also sprinkle grated cheese on top before the second bake for extra richness.
