Ingredients
  

Juice Ingredients
  • 1 piece green apple (about 200g / 7 oz)
  • 1 piece cucumber (about 300g / 10.5 oz)
  • 1 cup raw spinach or kale (about 30g / 1 oz) Can substitute with other leafy greens like Swiss chard or arugula.
  • 1 oz squeezed lemon (about 30ml / 1 oz)
  • 1 teaspoon chia seeds (about 5g / 0.2 oz) Let rest for about 10 minutes after adding to juice.
  • 1 glass water or coconut water (about 250ml / 8.5 fl oz)
  • 1 piece fresh ginger (about 2.5cm / 1 inch)

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Wash all ingredients thoroughly to remove dirt or pesticides.
  2. Cut the apple, cucumber, and ginger into small pieces for easier blending.
  3. Put everything in a blender, including the chopped apple, cucumber, spinach (or kale), ginger, water or coconut water, and the squeezed lemon juice.
  4. Blend until smooth, ensuring there are no chunks left.
  5. Add chia seeds and let the mixture rest for about 10 minutes.
  6. Mix well before drinking.
  7. Serve immediately for best benefits, preferably on an empty stomach.

Notes

Presentation can enhance the experience; pour into a chilled glass and garnish with a slice of green apple or mint. Pairs well with light breakfast.
