  • 3 tbsp sugar (45g)
  • 1 tsp dry yeast (3.5g)
  • Peel of 1 lemon
  • 3 tbsp melted cow butter (45g)
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 tsp salt (2.5g)
  • 1 vanilla powder (1 tsp)
  • 300g flour (2 1/2 cups)
  • 50g chocolate (1.75 oz)

More:

  • 1 egg yolk
  • A few drops of fresh milk
  • Slivered almonds, optional

Method of Preparation

Prepare the Cream:

  1. Beat the egg together with the sugar in a suitable container until well combined.
  2. Add the cornstarch, pour in a little cold milk, and mix until smooth.
  3. Gradually add the rest of the milk, mixing until the mixture is smooth and lump-free.
  4. Place the mixture on the stove and cook over medium heat, stirring vigorously until it thickens.
