- 2 packets vanilla sugar

- Cinnamon to taste

Pour the milk into a bowl, then beat the two eggs. Add 1 packet of vanilla sugar and mix well until homogeneous. Cut the rolls into circles and dip them (except for the tips) into the milk mixture, allowing them to soak. In another bowl, mix the cottage cheese with the second packet of vanilla sugar, sugar to taste, and the egg yolk. Add the scalded raisins to this mixture. Brush a baking pan with butter. Squeeze the soaked rolls and arrange them in layers in the pan. Spread the sweetened cottage cheese over the rolls and add another layer of rolls. Peel and core the apples, grate them, and mix with sugar and cinnamon. Spread this mixture over the roll layer. Cover with another layer of rolls, sprinkle with cinnamon, add slices of butter on top, and bake at 180°C (350°F) for 10-15 minutes until golden brown. Before serving, sprinkle with powdered sugar for an extra touch.
