Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a blender, combine the dates with the hot milk. Blend until the mixture is smooth and creamy.
- In a large mixing bowl, mix together the wheat flour, baking powder, and baking soda.
- Pour the date mixture and the neutral oil into the dry ingredients. Stir until everything is well combined.
- Add the vanilla essence and mix until it's fully incorporated.
- Pour the batter into a greased cake pan, spreading it evenly.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes. To check for doneness, insert a toothpick into the center; it should come out clean.
- Once baked, allow the cake to cool in the pan before transferring it to a wire rack or serving plate.
Notes
