Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a mixing bowl, combine the oat flour, baking powder, and salt.
- Add the water along with the optional honey or maple syrup and olive oil. Mix everything together until a smooth dough forms.
- Transfer the dough to a greased loaf pan and smooth the top with a spatula.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center of the bread comes out clean.
- Once baked, let the bread cool in the pan for about 10 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack. Allow it to cool completely before slicing.
Notes
Store leftover bread wrapped in foil or in an airtight container for freshness. Can be stored at room temperature for 2-3 days. Mix in seeds or nuts like sunflower seeds and walnuts for added texture. Swap honey or maple syrup with garlic powder or herbs for a savory twist.
