Instructions
Prepare the Dates: Place the dates in a bowl and cover with hot water. Let them soak for 20 minutes until softened, then drain and remove the seeds.
Toast the Peanuts: Heat a dry pan over medium heat and add the peanuts. Toast them for 3-4 minutes, stirring frequently, until fragrant and lightly golden. Set aside to cool.
Toast the Oatmeal: In the same dry pan, toast the oatmeal over medium heat for 4-5 minutes, stirring constantly until it develops a nutty aroma and golden color.
